Our History

Over the years, Regencell’s CEO Yat-Gai Au witnessed significant improvement of a family friend’s son who had been diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The child was treated by an extraordinary Chinese medicine practitioner and made noticeable improvements after just one month of treatment. Within two years of treatment, the child’s disorder had generally disappeared and was able to live a normal life.

Then in 2014, Regencell’s Chief Operating Officer, James Chung, was admitted as a patient to the same Chinese medicine practitioner for a different illness and experienced the amazing healing capability of the treatment first-hand.

James was inspired by his experiences and wondered why such beneficial treatments are only available to a small number of patients. He strongly believed that the formula should be more readily available in order to help more people. Yat-Gai established Regencell and James quit his corporate career to join him. They made it their mission to research and develop the formula in hopes of bringing this game-changing formula to more patients around the world.

Regencell aims to be the global leader in the research, development and commercialization of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for the treatment of neurocognitive disorders and degeneration, specifically ADHD and ASD, for which there are unmet medical needs in the global market.
